What is that slacker up to these days? (Hint: New Work for Saxophone)
I know, right? He gets his DMA and falls off the face of the Internet. Pfffft.
In all seriousness, I did just about that. I took some time off from… everything. But I’m back to work and back to making ephemera on the internet too.
My friend, David MacDonald agreed to write a new work for solo alto saxophone this summer, but we need your help. We’re really excited about this project and we are forming a 21st century consortium to fund it. If you are a/love a/know a saxophonist and would like to get involved you can do it by donating to our project. $25 will get you a digital copy of the work, a recording of the work (by yours truly), and exclusive performance rights through 2012.
